Repeat Prescriptions

There are several ways you can order a prescription:

  • By Post or by hand - please request your repeat prescriptions using the counter Foil (right side of prescription) attached to your previous prescription or by written note. Please include a SAE if you wish us to post it back to you and allow 4 days.
  • Via a Chemist - many chemists now offer a delivery service, telephone your local chemist to enquire (see below).
  • Online – you may register for our online services and order via the link at the top of this page.

For Prescription requests we require a 48 hour (2 days) turn around. If a request is submitted on a Friday we will try to have it ready for the following Monday afternoon, as the surgery is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

If you have any queries about your prescription please call the surgery.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
