Sevenbrooks Medical Centre is based in Atherton, Greater Manchester. We operate out of Sevenbrooks Medical Centre on Church Street and also Ormerod House, Nelson Street in Atherton
We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
COVID 19 update
Due to the rapidly changing guidance we are receiving from NHS England and Public Health we are making a few amendments to the way we work. We are doing this to protect both staff and patients.
The first change we are implementing is that from Monday 30th March 2020 we will be temporarily closing Sevenbrooks Medical Centre to all Patients. If you require a face to face appointment after having a telephone consultation you will be seen at the Ormerod House Location. You can still contact the surgery via telephone as usual.
You can still post prescriptions through the letter box at Sevenbrooks Medical Centre location and these will be sent to your nominated chemist if you do not have a nominated chemist we will can send these electronically through to a Pharmacy of your choice or we will temporarily nominate Lloyds Pharmacy. If you wish to order a prescription patients can use the online service, you can send it to the surgery email email@example.com or as a temporary measure this can be requested over the telephone. As you can understand the phone lines are currently very busy and we are answering call as quickly as we can.

Shielded Patients Information
There are a number of car parking spaces situated around the Health Centre. Please do not park in the spaces provided for the doctors' use.
Zero Tolerance – Abusive or Aggressive Behaviour
Our staff come to work to care for others, and it is important for all members of the public and our staff to be treated with courtesy and respect.
In line with the rest of the NHS and to ensure this is fully observed, we have a Zero Tolerance policy. This means that aggressive or violent behaviour towards our staff or any member of the public within our Practice premises will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Anyone giving verbal abuse to members of staff, either in person or over the telephone, will be sent a letter from the Practice Manager advising that this behaviour will not be tolerated. Any future violation of this policy will result in the removal from the Practice patient list. There will be no appeal process.
We feel sure that you will understand that proper behaviour is absolutely necessary for our staff and patients and that non-observance will not be accepted.
